Diana and Joe met with us for an engagement session last weekend. We went to multiple locations including the place where they got engaged. We were so blessed to have a gorgeous day with beautiful lights out (pretty rare in Seattle, I must say).

Diana and Joe, congratulations on your engagement! Thank you both for putting up with me for setting up the shots with lights etc. You make such a sweet couple together!

I hate to pick favorites, but this is one of my favorite sessions. Jennifer and Kevin are so natural in front of the camera. They know their poses and they are a gorgeous looking couple! Even the sky cooperated with us, the day started with rain, and just 40 minutes after the we said our goodbyes the sky poured down rain with full force.

This is part of Chateau Ste Michelle winery near Woodinville, such a beautiful place to take pictures!

A field just outside of the winery. Whenever I drove near by it, I always wanted to take pictures of it, I finally did!

I can’t decide a favorite, you really need to see the whole series to see how fun and beautiful Jennifer is! And these pictures are straight out of camera in case you are wondering.

I love this image a LOT although it may not be technically perfect. This is the first time I tried out backlighting and I love the movie scene mood it creates. I seem to always end my posts with the image I love most :)

I finally got to edit Jessica and Chris’ engagement session. Guys, I apologize for the delay! I have decided for their session to post the slideshow first instead of individual pictures, because really, it’s hard to summarize their personality with just a dozen pictures. They are such fun and energetic people! Jessica is an ecologist/botanist. We walked for about 3 hours inside the beautiful Discovery Park in Seattle. Jessica would educate us on the plants along our path. They are also both big gaming fans (just like my hubby). It was so much fun spending time with them that I almost forget to ask them to pose for pictures.

These are not your typical engagement pictures, but I hope they did justice to reflect their their goofy and fun personalities!
